EAHS Students Featured in Aurora AchievesEstudiantes de EAHS Destacados en Aurora Achieves

East Aurora High School Seniors Hector Montellano-Bahena and Amani Williams were featured in the “Aurora Achieves” City of Aurora video series for their outstanding academic and athletic achievements.

Both Montellano-Bahena and Williams are in the top 5% of their class.

Montellano-Bahena is president of the Spanish Honors Society, a member of the National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, Mathletes and is on the Boys Tennis team and a manager for the Girls Tennis team.

Williams was one of the first wrestlers on the EAHS Girls Wrestling team that was founded when she was a Freshman. It already is one of the most dominent sports programs, having won their third consecutive Championship Upstate 8 Conference title on January 25, 2025. Williams is also on the Tennis and Badminton teams and a member of the Student Athlete Society, Chess Club, Movie Club and Art Club.

Los estudiantes del último año de East Aurora High School, Héctor Montellano-Bahena y Amani Williams, aparecieron en la serie de videos “Aurora Achieves” de la ciudad de Aurora por sus destacados logros académicos y atléticos.

Tanto Montellano-Bahena como Williams se encuentran en el 5% superior de su clase.

Montellano-Bahena es presidente de la Sociedad de Honores en Español, miembro de la Sociedad Nacional de Honores, de la Sociedad Nacional de Honores de Ciencias, Mathletes y está en el equipo de tenis masculino y es director del equipo de tenis femenino.

Williams fue una de las primeras luchadoras en el equipo EAHS Girls Wrestling que se fundó cuando ella era estudiante de primer año. Ya es uno de los programas deportivos más destacados, habiendo ganado su tercer título consecutivo de Campeon de la Conferencia Upstate 8 el 25 de enero de 2025. Williams también forma parte de los equipos de tenis y bádminton y es miembra del Student Athlete Society, el Chess Club, el Movie Club y el Art Club.
